Co-authored a USENIX Security Symposium paper on 802.11 device driver fingerprinting in 2006 at about age 23, then joined Google's security team as an information security engineer in 2007 at about age 24 after B.S./M.S. degrees at UIUC.

Parisa Tabriz was born in 1983 in Chicago to an Iranian physician father and Polish-American nurse mother. She studied computer science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S. and M.S.), did wireless security research with Nikita Borisov, interned at Google security, and joined Google full-time in 2007. She later led Chrome security, Project Zero, and rose to VP/GM of Chrome.
