Interactive path comparison
Am I the next Ryuichi Sakamoto?
A questionnaire can compare visible ingredients. It cannot reproduce Ryuichi Sakamoto's timing, leverage origins, encounters, trajectory, or luck. Take the short quiz—then see exactly where the analogy stops working.

Independent educational analysis. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or predictive of becoming Ryuichi Sakamoto.
The comparison is the doorway, not the answer. A high match means some documented fields look similar. It does not mean the fields came from the same origins, interacted in the same order, or will produce the same outcome.
What the record actually contains
Ryuichi Sakamoto's visible path ingredients
Born in Tokyo in 1952, Sakamoto began piano lessons at age six and started composing at age ten. His father was a well-known literary editor and his mother designed women's hats. He entered the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1970, earning a BA in music composition in 1974 and an MA in 1976 with emphasis on electronic and ethnic music. He began working as a session musician with Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi in 1977, leading to the formation of YMO in 1978.

The surface comparison
Which visible ingredients do you share?
These questions are selected from Ryuichi Sakamoto's strongest documented fields. For leverage, you will also identify where yours came from—the distinction a raw score hides.
The result is surface resemblance: descriptive overlap across the selected fields, not the probability that you become Ryuichi Sakamoto.
What no quiz can recover
Luck acts across the entire path
Luck is not a fifth score. It changes the transitions between starting position, capability, trajectory, and outcome—and this successful-only dataset cannot estimate its size.
Structural luck
Birthplace, era, family, geography, institutions, and being near the right frontier.
Encounter luck
Meeting a collaborator, mentor, coach, investor, selector, or first customer.
Event luck
An algorithm boost, market shock, competitor failure, injury avoided, or unexpected opening.
Outcome variance
Similar visible inputs can still produce different results for reasons the record cannot recover.
Sequence matters

The useful conclusion
You do not need to become the next Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Use this profile to inspect mechanisms, not borrow an identity. Your relevant problem is which moves fit your starting conditions, current leverage, constraints, timing, and acceptable risks.
