You are not the next Richie McCaw.
That is not pessimism. It is precision. You can study this path, but you cannot inherit its conditions, replay its sequence, or schedule its luck.

Keep the mechanisms. Drop the identity. Richie McCaw was born on New Year's Eve 1980 in Oamaru, New Zealand, and grew up on his parents' farm. He played for New Zealand Under-21 in 2000-2001 and made his debut for Canterbury in 2000. He was selected for the Crusaders in 2001 and, despite having played only 17 first-class games, was called up to the All Blacks' 2001 end-of-year tour. He made his Test debut against Ireland in Dublin at 20, earning Man of the Match. He became a regular selection and was appointed All Blacks captain in 2004 at 23.
