She trained handball for eight years from age 12, was team captain, and was named best player in Serbia three years in a row, but chose not to pursue it professionally. On her mothers urging, she applied to BKTV in 2001, passing a competition among over 6,000 applicants. She started as an entertainment reporter on shows Blockbuster and Trailer before moving to RTS in 2005 as co-host of the morning programme Jutarnji program.
