Born in Brazil, aspas (Erick Santos) was introduced to Counter-Strike by his father, who owned a computer shop, at age 3-4. He played CS 1.6, CS:GO, StarCraft, and DotA before transitioning to Valorant when it launched in 2020 at age 17. He started his Valorant career with SLICK in 2021, then joined a free agent team that was signed by LOUD in February 2022.
