# The visa draw

Qualified. Still waiting.

The archive explores how a visa selection process can alter a career despite a person’s qualifications and job offer.

- **The choice:** Prepare, seek eligible work and apply through the relevant process.

- **The circumstances:** Selection in a constrained visa process.

- **A different position:** An unsuccessful draw is not evidence of less skill or effort.
